Beaming is the action of joining eighth notes together by a line, to visually group them.
Our first algorithm was greedy: we were beaming all notes of same duration when it was possible, possibly ending with all notes of the measure beamed. The problem with this is that it is hard to read the rhythm separation.
I have updated the beaming algorithm to only beam together notes that belongs to the same beat. The beat is taken from the time signature, or from the tuplet division. The result is more readable isn't it?
I hope that this improvement will help our fellow musicians while performing your awesome compositions! After all, music is written to be played :)
