Last month we have released some fancy articulations for brass instruments:
The two articulations on the left do fancy things on the attack part of the note, the two on the right do fancy things on the release part.
You can find those in the articulation section in Flat, as below:
These articulation use the fact that with brass instruments, you can modulate the sound at you wish. Sébastien, our music theory master prepared some examples to show you how it can sound:Here is the corresponding score:
Note that in a real use case, you rarely have so many articulations on so few measures. And the way those articulations are interpreted also depends on the context.
