Earlier this year we released two new assignment types in Flat for Education: Auto-graded worksheets and Performance assignments. However, we didn't update the wording of our existing assignments, which could cause some confusion.
Today, we are releasing an update to the teachers' interface to clarify the different assignment types and make our product more consistent:
- Composition (formally "Assignments"): either a New score, Template or a score shared in Shared writing. All these options use our music notation editor.
- Worksheets: Automatically generated and graded music theory exercises
- Performance: Audio recording assignments
There are no changes on the students' interface, these assignment labels only appear in the teacher interface.
