Flat in the USA

Hi Everyone,

Today we're delighted to announce that Flat is now fully incorporated in the US.

Since the launch of Flat power and our dedicated education offer we met a growing number of US customers. As a UK based company we quickly ran into a couple issues due to:

  • Our two different banking systems (SWIFT / ACH)
  • Banking policies on debit cards
  • Schools' purchase policies

That also gives us the capability to hire and build a team in the USA to be closer to all our US based users. Which is really exciting for us! This is a very big step in that direction. :)

For our new US customers their accounts will be distributed by our new US subsidiary company, existing customers will still be managed by our UK-based company. If you prefer to be invoiced in the US, please contact us and we will transfer your account.

We are so happy to get to such a symbolic milestone with all of you!
