Dear Flat community,
A new year is ending and we wanted to seize the opportunity to share with you all our love and thankfulness. 2017 has been full of unforeseen developments and we're super excited to still be around to celebrate once again with you!
Here are two numbers we want to share with you that show how fast we're growing together :)
In 2017, you have created more than 1,500,000 sheet music on the platform.
On our side, we've made great progress on all our suite of products along the years:
We have released our dedicated iOS application.
**We started the beta of a new digital worksheet for our teachers' communi50.png)](GHOST_URL/push-music-education-to-the-next-level/)
**We made possible to compose directly in Google Docs or Google Slidon.gif)](GHOST_URL/easily-insert-music-notation-in-your-google-docs-slides/)
We released more than 50 updates inside the editor
Including the ability to synchronize with external audio sou29.png)](GHOST_URL/synchronize-external-audio-sources-with-flat/)
We have been able to go that fast thanks to all your support and feedback! You have been simply amazing ❤️❤️
Our ninth version is coming in 2018
(Last week) we spent two days all together in Paris to prepare the upcoming year and brainstorm what we want to achieve and where we want to bring Flat.
I am delighted to announce that we are actively working on our ninth version. This one will be focused on making the platform faster than ever, making the editor usable even on low resources devices, and finally, improve interactions between all creators.
The beta test is already live with a couple of power users.
Feedback is really positive and we will progressively open access to everyone. If you want to be part of it, please, as usual, just reach out.
Thanks a lot for being part of the journey and supporting us changing how compositions are created, shared and consumed!
Happy holidays to all,
Have a wonderful time with your family and loved ones!
All the best,
Pierre & the Flat Team
